Description of the programme


his External Quality Assessment (AGLAE's programme ‘80’) in synthetic urines is provided in the frame of:

  • the accreditation scope related to the ISO 15189 standard "Medical laboratories - Requirements for quality and competence" (check AGLAE's accreditation - Cofrac No. 1-1664)

 

Features of this EQA:

  • Samples close to patient samples
  • Validation of the complete analysis from the receipt of the test sample up to the results submission
  • Assessment of several technicians and several techniques (automatic, manual): reference results and up to 5 additional results
  • Measurements in replicates to assess the repeatability of laboratories analyses, that is their precision
  • Comparison of results per peer groups (manual analyses, Biomérieux - Sysmex Iris Diagnostics i2a and A. Menarini Diagnostics)
  • Results reported on-line
  • Results and performance gathered in a synthetic file
